Low level vibrations

I was experiencing low level vibration through my house from my prusa mk 3, so I tried felt furniture/floor protection pads and they seem to work very well at negating this. The type I have are about 5mm thick and come in packets of  different diameters and are self adhesive on one side.

Very cheap as well,

RE: Low level vibrations
Stefan of CNC Kitchen has a couple of videos on this topic that are well worth watching:
He noted that some of the "isolating" feet reduce immediate noise, but can actually make resonant vibrations much worse at some common frequencies. I suggest giving those a watch and doing a quick test.

Felt will couple the printer to the supporting surface. These may help, but can make the vibration worse in some cases. Definitely a try it and see situation.

I went down the rabbit hole of reducing noise after moving my Mk3 to an audio equipment rack. The trick is to increase the printer mass to reduce mechanical noise while simultaneously isolating the printer mass from any noisy surfaces. Wound up using a 17x17inch paver stone with felt non-isolating feet to couple the printer to the paver mass, and Sorbothane feet to de-couple and isolate the printer from the cabinet to avoid resonant noise.

RE: Low level vibrations

I am also a fan of increasing the mass of the printer. Put it on a cheap surface plate (2" granite) or something.

I would up using a granite pastry board (.5") which I am quite happy with. And those felt feet.
