Just got a tracking number for "Heatbed steel sheet TXT"
I got to work this morning and saw an email from DHL stating I'm receiving a package on Monday containing a "Heatbed steel sheet TXT." I haven't ordered anything or spoken to support to get a new build sheet. Has anyone else heard anything about this? I thought the powder coated sheet was supposed to ship at the end of the month?

Yes, I have the same. Mine is the result of delaying shipment of my October order until the textured sheet was available, then in March acceptation delivery of the printer with a smooth sheet (at Prusa's request) and the agreement that they would foc ship a textured sheet when available.

Thanks for letting us know, OP. I saw 3D Printing Nerd's interview with Josef and have been excited since then. I didn't delay my order, but hopefully this means they'll make them readily available within the next few months. No more wasteful rafts when printing with old PETG/flexibles/nylon.

It just showed up! It looks like it's in pretty good shape, too. I'm very happy with it.

November 10. I originally selected to wait for the textured sheet, but eventually changed over to a smooth sheet. I received my printer in early February.

I just spoke to chat and the December orders are being sent out so they are working through the months when ordered so mine was January got my mk3 march so still got a couple of months wait but at least there sending them out we did buy the mk3 with the text sheet 🙂

Received mine today at 1:15pm, it was shipped Monday at 1pm not sure who's time zone though. I had ordered my MK3 Nov 20th and received it first week of February.

I just got in touch with support because I was a September order and haven't heard anything and wanted to know what logic they're using to send them out.
He was not sure what logic is being used. Oh well, hope it's soon and free!

Am I missing something here? Did Prusa say that they were sending out powder coated steel sheets to people who ordered their printer early? I ordered my printer back in October, received in January, and was wondering if they're just shipping out powder coated steel sheets.
I'd love to see a follow-up letter from Prusa especially since people are starting to get theirs now.

I didn't contact PR about the sheet, and didn't get any communications from them. I just got an email one day from DHL about a delivery to my address. It was a welcome surprise.

I asked as well - there's no order indeed. However, I managed to find out that the first batches go to the people who chose to wait for the powercoated sheet and eventually got the PEI sheet (without being asked) once it was clear that production delays will be longer than expected.

Well, that's one way of doing it. I really don't agree that it's the right one as everyone who ordered before there was even a supply issue was basically in that exact situation. A Sept 2017 order should be getting sorted out before a Feb 2018 one, IMO.
Hopefully the roll-out is a short one, I've got chunks missing from both sides of my PEI sheet.

Support told me I have to wait for the webstore to have them in stock once i get my email voucher. Kind of anointed that from what i understand people that ordered and received their printer couple moths after me will be getting it first. Im hopping that at least ill be able to bundle a second sheet and save on the shipping cost.

Hi all, New here. I ordered the MK3 and received it awhile ago but due to a lot of things have not been able to get much use on it. I finally got around to following up as to why I received the wrong sheet and got a reply back saying I should have known since an announcement was made and I was to respond back if I still wanted the textured sheet... So I went back and checked my email and I cannot find any such announcement! Was this sent out to other people?? Now according to support it was posted on Josef Prusa's blog, WTF, why was it not emailed out??!!? So I guess my question now is why are some people getting them free, others are told to wait till Aug and they can buy them, then current buyers are getting them first? I cannot find the blog post that explains all this.
