Is ironing bad for strength?
I print pet-g only and I noticed in more that one occasion that printed parts collapsed, even with simple handling, just at protrusion from an ironed level.
The explanation I gave myself is that ironing take a lot of time, making the areas yet to be printed at that level too cold to achieve a good next layer adhesion.
All the breaking I had were plain smooth cut off at ironing level, making me wonder if it is worthy to use the good old sandpaper instead.
Did anybody experienced the same?
