I'm thinking of selling my used mk3
So I've had my mk3 since 2018, I have roughly 180 days of print time on it, and I changed parts as I went. I'm looking at changing the hotend completely before selling and including the old hotends I kept as backups. I am also including a hand full of nozzels with it. The build plate on 1 side has a small cut into it where I was trying to get something off a long time ago. Personally I just don't print on that side.
What do you think the value of this would be?
I'm doing this to help cover the cost of a mk4. I am selling the nozzels because I figure I won't need them with the new setup and have no plans to using the adapter.
I'm 50/50 on selling the octoprint setup with it. I don't know if I will need it after I get the mk4.
(part of me wants to keep it as another printer since it does work. But I don't make enough to have 2 printers. Note I currently don't have the mk4.)

Good luck. You won’t get back anywhere near what they used to go for now. Printers have moved on a lot.

That's a tough call saying you don't have enough for two printers. I look at it this way, you already have the time and money invested in the 3. You aren't going to get much for it on the open market. The 4 has a lot of fancy bells and whistles, but I'm guessing you already figured out a lot of the issues the Nextruder addresses, first layer, etc.
My opinion the one thing the 4 brings to the table is input shaping. Having recently updated the firmware on my Mini I feel as if I have a whole new printer. If money is tight why not consider the 3.5 update when it is released in early '24?
