I am so impressed with what I can do with a 3D printer !!
I have always enjoyed designing an making things. I recently bought my first 3D printer, despite knowing next to nothing about 3D printing. After I finished building the MK3 kit, I could hardly believe it just worked. 3 months later I am still a novice, but I am so pleased with what I can make, and the quality of the parts that come off the print bed. I have only used PLA, but I concentrated on mastering Fusion 360 and now my designs are pretty complex - I built animatronic eyes with an embedded Pi3 camera, a walking robot platform and lots of doll's house furniture for my daughter.
I am going up a huge learning curve and it is really exciting. I wish I had bought a printer years ago !

I'm right there with you. Been enjoying the MK3 and learning Fusion360. The scope of possibilities seem endless, especially early on.
Even my better-half says we should have bought one long ago. That's saying something.
She's into sewing so I've made bobbin holders and all sorts of custom sized trays....

Same here... but in addition to the utility of arbitrary things on demand, it's just made my backlog of awesome projects to make even longer 😀

3D printers are perfect for someone with ADHD - I bounce from print to print all day long.
