How do I enable Linear Advance?

I want to enable Linear Advance. Am I required to do that at the g-code level, or is there some other setting (maybe "E-Correct"?) which does it?

Anything else I need to do?

I'm running firmware 3.2.1.

If you use slic3rpe, you will see in filament profile, m900 gcode commande with a specific value. K is different for each material. By sending a K value, you set up linear advance. As said K0 disable the linear advance. If you don't send a m900, the firmware uses K0.
You can even calibrate linear advance for your filaments: https://mattshub.com/2017/10/02/linear-advance/
