I ordered on the 23rd of September. I got the pre shipping e-mail and talked to the support. They said, that they will start shipping some units end of this week and more next week.

Ordered 23rd yet not in the first batch

Chat just confirmed ill be waiting at least a fortnight despite being a day 1 order

Reason being, anyone who had an MK2S on order and cancelled it for an MK3 got bumped up the list, so good for them, just not for everyone else who ordered right away yet got missed off the first batch.

Little annoyed to be honest

Well, the thread is all over the place, so I will jump in too I guess. But please lets keep everyone's shipping update here in one thread. I have seen people updating in multiple threads and we should keep all the progress in one thread IMHO.

When I first read about the MK2's jumping ahead, it irked me too. But, the more I think about it, I am okay with it. If one ordered the MK2 around 9/15 Prusa was only a week behind immediate shipping. SO, there should only be a week or so of MK2 orders/cancels jumping ahead of us. And the order pace for the MK2 would have been nothing like after the MK3 announcement. So, it will probably be only a few days difference for the first post announcement new orders. I ordered 9/25... Should be soon I imagine.

If its 2 weeks wait from today, even for a day 1 order then we wont be seeing our kits before Christmas, shipping is already hectic due to Christmas approaching 🙁

Problem is, Prusa could of been a little clearer of an approaching model, it was a bit of a kick in the nuts for people that had orders back then, and now its coming back to bite people that ordered quickly. I have been told 2 more weeks, which at this time of year might aswell be a month due to how busy couriers are in December

I guess I stand corrected then... I see you ordered on the first day of the announcement, 9/23. I ordered 9/25... If you have to wait two weeks after the beginning of the shipping for a day one order, then by the math I have to wait 4 weeks. Day 1 = 2 week wait, then Day 2 must = 4 week wait for me.

Now this may seem ludacris, but since we are only getting information from third parties rather than the source, we are left to do nothing but speculate. 😡

I ordered the day it was announced (wait... it was the day after.. 23) and receiving it just in January will be disappointing.... 🙄
