Finally got some acetone
Dat feel of a perfect first layer covering the entire bed surface 😯 😯 😯
They really should make it more clear how important certain steps are to PEI maintenance.
Every problem I thought had to do with bed leveling, or z axis calibration just came down to the bed not being cleaned enough by alcohol. I gave it a huge scrubbing with a kitchen sponge + dawn, then did the acetone.. and so much adhesion.

Only use it once a week or the PEI will get brittle - so they say

A mild soap solution fixes the same problem without unpleasant chemicals. 💡 😀
