Printed a couple Bat-a-rangs, a tree frog and a motorcycle part and I'm hooked! Looking at the MMU2 and a DIY scanner next.

Go into the MMU2 with patience. Took me a month before I realized how all the pieces worked together and finally got it dialed in. I'm glad I built a second printer prior to adding the MMU2. Would have hated having no printer working for a month.

My printer arrived in Portland Friday. 90 miles away.

It immediately went into Exception - On Hold.

Scheduled delivery is tomorrow - so I don't know if I have a problem or not.

Run over by a forklift - seized by customs - Exception gives no clue.

This might just be DHL's way of ensuring "No package delivered before its time". Maybe.

I think it is that last one. The printer must not be ripe yet, so it needs to sit for another day in ethylene.

I think they load it in a truck and just drive circles around the building.

DHL took my shipment off Exception - Hold at 9 AM this morning.

2 1/2 hours later it was sitting on my front porch. 90 miles away - that driver was flying.

This answers my question - for Economy Hold means DHL will "Deliver no package before it's time".

I am extremely happy with the service and total ship time. I just wish they told us what Hold meant.

It might be as simple as it was placed on the wrong truck.

Nah, they just hold it. I had an item I had held while I was travelling and it also went into exception until the day before it was scheduled to be delivered.

Heh, I work a few blocks over from the DHL depot so I just have them hold things there and walk over at lunch. I've always had stuff in 2-3 days from shipment as well, and I swear once an item went through NY instead of the Ohio hub.
