Cupboard Box for MK3
Hello guys,
I would show you my MK3 Cupboard Box 🙂
The Box fits in a cupboard. Bad air and noise stay in the Box. Also there are some nice features:
-HEPA air filter
-Web Cam
-Remote Powersupply (controlable about Smartphone app)
-automatic switch off at a configureable temperature
-smoke alarm
-dimmable LEDs
-Spoolholder
-thermometer
What is your solution?

Very nicely done!

Nice work. Love the spool holder. Very clean. Small enclosure will be easier to maintain heat for ABS, PC and other tuff materials to extrude. Mine is a work in progress. Post pictures soon. 2'x4' granite table for the base.

Great job. looks good!
I was about to post a question regarding boxing in the MK3, while a'm waiting for mine (my first 3D printer ever). I want to place it in the basement (unmonitored), so I was thinking about installing it in a box (preferably fire proof) including an automatic fire extinguisher and a webcam. But are there any issues, I should consider before building the box? E.g. the heat within the box: will that affect the print quality? Other issues?
Looking forward to any advice 🙂
Re: Cupboard Box for MK3
Nice build. I Built Mine out of some cabinet doors from Ikea. One more idea for you that I'm considering is buying a AFO auto fire extinguisher ball to mount inside my enclosure. I may see a little overkill but for $60 I think it's worth the peace of mind.

I don't see any ventilation. How hot is it getting inside?
