Crash detection unreliable
Hi,
I love that the MK3 tries to implement crash detection and automatically continue after an error but it's not as reliable as it could be.
I think the main issue is that the XY home position isn't very repeatable because of the lack of endstops and I don't know how accurate the stepper drivers are when homing. In my experience, when a print continues from a shift/crash the layers are slightly shifted. I've had prints where the shift was as much as 0,5 - 1mm and some where it was hardly noticable.
Could this be resolved by adding normal microswith endstops instead of using the stepper drivers for homing?
