  1. I’m looking at opening up my own 3D printing business in the United States, for 3D printing services only. I’m looking for a good 3D printer to start with, that can print carbon fibers such as matterhackers NylonX

Have you considered an SL1?  Lots of people have FDM printers, so there would be a lot of competition.  SLA printers can produce finer detail with different material types.

Are you successful? And how did you get around to starting the business?

I’m looking for structural stuff, not replicas or minis. Aiming towards a more industrial environment

Have a good look at Josef Prusa. He is running a very successful business using 500+ of his own printers to produce parts for - more Prusa printers! He is proving the worth of his product in a business by actually using it extensively in his own business.

@steven-p8

SL1 is also a very good option, my friends use it. They have it like this. Very high quality model.

But I would still advise taking the latest version of 2020.

This is Folger Tech RepRap 2020 Prusa i3.

Folger Tech RepRap 2020 Prusa i3 is gorgeous! You can follow this link and read more information.

RE: Business

I have been running a semi-successful business with Prusa printers.  I strongly recommend them.  I have expanded them to a total of 12 printers.  I own three clones and would recommend the original over the clones.  I have 8 MK3S and 4 Minis that essentially run around the clock.  Each is plugged into Octoprint.  I am transitioning them to an outbuilding on my farm over the next 6 months.

I also have 2 Crealities and 2 Anycubic.  I would recommend Prusa over all four others I own.
