Bed is significantly cooler than reported
After my first pre-heat of the bed to 60, I didn't think it felt hot enough.. 60 degrees should be uncomfortable to touch, but it wasn't.
So today I have taken some measurements using a variety of temperature sensors and the bed is 50 degrees cooler than reported. The LCD shows that its at a stable 60 degrees.. But its actually at around 51.
Worse still, the corners are significantly cooler (At 46).
When I built it, I triple checked the thermistor, and took steps to ensure that it couldn't come of the board, so I am pretty confident that its not a thermistor issue.
Anyone else had similar experiences? Is it possible to fix?

Re: Bed is significantly cooler than reported
After the printer had cooled to room temperature (23 degrees), I noticed that the Extruder and Bed reported a temperature within 1 degree of each other, so the thermistors are pretty well calibrated.
So then I heated the bed again and this time dug out my FLIR camera.. And this reports 58-62 across the bed... My IR thermometer still shows 48-50.. So I guess that the reflection off the bed doesn't allow an accurate IR reading.
What ever the temperature is, I am really impressed with how well PLA is sticking.. My old printer (Printrbot) with Kapton tape on aluminium had to be heated to over 70 degrees to get a similar result..
So this is a non-issue.
