Y belt shifting on pulley
Hey everybody,
I am currently assembling my first mk3s and encounterd something I'm not sure about.
When moving the bed the belt shifts a bit on the pulley. The belt shift from the middle of the pulley to the motor side of the pulley.
Is this a problem? Can this resolved?

RE: Y belt shifting on pulley
It's a result of misalignment of the belt holder on the bed, the pulley, the pulley axis, the motor and the motor axis. Unless you have all perfectly aligned (parallel / perpendicular), there will be some movement of the belt on the pulley as you move the bed. With plastic parts it's almost impossible to have both alignment and good tension. However, it's not a problem, it doesn't affect the printer in a significant way.
