Where is home on a 3s kit, 3.6 firmware??

I just finished my first print! All is working beyond my expectations EXCEPT. Where is home? is it left - front or left-back? If I "auto home" the head goes to the back-left corner. If I start a print from there the machine attempts checks the bed without moving in the Y direction (tries to move the bed closer to me) as if home should be in the front-left corner. then starts the printing process in the front-left corner without problem. Do I have to manually move the head to the front-left corner before I start a print? Thanks for any advice you can provide.

home is front left corner of the bed. sounds like you might have the y motor cable reversed so it is running backward

The printer will perform a G28 W command before a print starts. This should move the bed to the rear Y position, and the extruder to the left X position. This places the nozzle at the front-left corner of the sheet, or home position of the printer.  You will see a dashed line of the PEI sheet, outside the print boundary, where a purge line is printed.

You might notice... most PEI sheets have a notched edge at the rear, that allow alignment to the heat bed.  However, the notch on some sheets moves the printed lines off-center of the Y-axis, so a centered model will print a bit forward of the lines on the sheet.  But X centering is generally good.  This is a cosmetic thing according to Prusa.
