When dialed in, this is fantastic!

It took me weeks, but then again I'm confined to home because of COVID-19 so I have plenty of time.  I bought the kit and built it myself.  Turns out the zip tie you use to calibrate the nozzle height is too thick.  But getting the nozzle properly distanced, the PRUSA logo perfectly printed.  I then tried the original project I bought this for and it came out amazing!  If you are having problems with the first print, cleanliness is next to godliness and that distance between the sensor and the plate makes all the difference.  I wish they would publish the actual distance they use and not depend completely on the tie-wraps.  But then again, there is going to be a lot of variance with that sensor.  But once you get it dialed in, this is a fantastic printer.

Awesome to hear some positive feedback for a change.

Patience, perseverance and attention to detail are key in getting good results and it is so rewarding once you have it dialled in!  🙂

Make small incremental changes and test, test, test. Too many people make a bunch of changes at the same time and/or too big a change and then get on here and blow up about how crap the printer is.
