what went wrong here? bridge issues with ASA

I am desperately trying to print a channel for a lamp project. So far I had huge issues with warping and separation from the print bed as well as this strange looking first bridge layer.

Filament: ASA from a local NZ producer (Kiwi3d)
Settings are slighlty modified from Prusament ASA settings:
extruder 240 degrees (upper end of the manufacturers range)
bed: started at 95 (manufacturer) and worked my way up to 105
5mm brim

And before somebody suggests to flip the whole thing upside down for printing to avoid the bridge, that wouldn't work as there is supposed to be something on top (see second image). The whole structure is about 21cm long and 3.8mm high.

Printing sideways doesn't work either, because the channel is open at one end and therefore only supported on one side.

Thanks in advance, any comments are welcome and apologies if this post looks weird, html forums are not my forte.

That's how it currently looks with the default settings for the Prusament ASA (so much higher temperatures). Still a bit stringy but definitely better.

Any suggestions what else to tweak?

btw, the room is quite warm and no drafts, didn't get around to build an enclosure yet, but it is on the to do list...
