Variable midprint print failures

So I have a mk3 converted to mk3s. this is my 3rd 3d printer and i have had the printer for about 1 year. I have printed a fair amount on the mk3 and since upgrading to the 3s until about thanksgiving. tried to start back into printing with no success. Since getting back into the 3d printing saddle, I have been unable to complete a single print. In the interim the printer was not moved and stayed in a storage closet where i normally keep the printer. They all fail part of the way into the print. when each occurs, there is no clicking or wierd noise. afterward a clean pull shows no residual clot. each time I can simply hit "load filament" and refeed the filament and then start again. each time the prints fail at slightly different heights.
Things I have tried
- clean/atomic pulls
- tightening, loosening and retightening the grub screw on the extruder
- using fresh prusament filament of several different types, atomic and inalnd pla which had previously worked
- replaced heatsink to standard e3d heatsink per 3d printing nerd recommendation, replaced nozzle with new e3d standard 0.4 nozzle.
- used standard profiles, Chris warlocki "pretty profiles". with both varied extruder temp between 190-245.
Still no luck. Any thoughts?

Have you tried a pre sliced mode?

@joantabb
i have tried a model which previously worked, clamps for my cnc and separately a large segment of the modification for me dehydrator/filament dryer and they also experienced this failure.
RE: Variable midprint print failures
Clean rods, and put oil on them, search the forum or google for what oil to use.
Clean extruder gears and put grease on them.
Slow the print down.
And let us see or tell what goes wrong with a print, print a easy print
