Two Month Assembly Tune-Up is Prudent

I took a systematic approach to diagnosing a buzzing noise that developed in my mk3S after two months of frequent use. I got out the assemble manual and started testing the tightness of all the accessible screws for each step. All of the screws that attached metal to metal were as tight as the day I assembled, but about 70 percent of the screws going into plastic were somewhat looser than I made them in the original build. This is understandable, given that plastic can creep under load, particularly when it's new, or newly stressed. I don't believe the screws were backing out. Now the printer runs like new, as far as I can tell. Easy 30 minute job, and recommended. ( I posted a solution to the buzzing problem in another post titled "z Axis Noise Problem Solved").

...there are only 10 kinds of people in this world--those who know binary and those who don't...
