Two - MK3S Printers
Assembled identical. One Pinda is adjusted at -.430, the other at -.970. The printer at 430 spits out consistently good prints. The printer at 970 is helter skelter. Will make one good print, then spaghetti city.
How large of a tolerance difference should there be in the Pinda probe? 1/2mm seems like a pretty big tolerance to me.

The PINDA is adjustable up and down. Where you have it in the holder will affect the Z offset. I found that using the zip tie as a gauge resulted in a much larger offset than the .1 suggested in the First Steps video.
Here's what I did. Using the panel controls, move the nozzle to the center and put a piece of paper underneath. Again using the controls, lower to Z=0. Now go to the Live Z Offset control and twiddle the dial until the paper drags. Doing this gives me perfect prints. I think I ended up with .68 or something like that.
