Thin layer in calibration
after a day spent mounting the kit, I really enjoy, I have a strange issue, when I try to print the test the wire is really very thin and the only thing that I can do is to decrease the filament size, off course the filament is not attached to the steel plate. is thin more than an hair.
Thank you if you can help me

RE: Thin layer in calibration
It sounds like your Live-Z settings is too high. The filament extrudes too high from the print surface and has nothing to adhere to. If you have not already done so, try using Jeff Jordan's "Life Adjust" procedure for calibrating your Live-Z setting. It is much easier to use and understand than the on-board routine. In general, start high (less negative) and work lower (more negative) in large increments (e.g. 0.1mm) until the filament starts to stick on its own. When it's right, you should be able to gently rub it without it coming loose. Then start lowering (more negative) the level until there are no gaps between layers. When you've got your Live-Z setting adjusted properly, you should be able to gently rub the extruded lines without dislodging them.
And above all else, avoid touching the PEI print surface.
If you aren't getting good extrusion, send a picture of what's happening and we'll be able to provide more help.
