Special sort of extrusion problem
Hi Everyone,
I have a special sort of problem. The printer is not extruding well, so I changed nozzle and opened up the hole extruder. Everything seems to be fine, but it is not extruding well. Sometimes when I change filament I have to pull very hard in order to get it out. It seems that it has formed some bulk at the end of the filament which is hard to get out.
Also, I tried to adjust the idler screw softer or harder but nothing seems to work. Sometimes you can hear that click click thing when the idler is not catching the filament well. But the nozzle is not obstructed since it is new, and it extrudes well if I push the filament through by hand.
Does anyone have an idea what that could be?
Thanks
BR

first guess is not hot enough...

The spring should adjusted like in the manual, you can try less pressure or a little more.
If the extruder click, this is not good. Try different filament or more heat on nozzle. Slower printing could also help.
it could be a partial clog, move extruder higher and extrude filament, check if it is thick enough and not curling up against the nozzle.
Do a few cold pulls to clean nozzle, check on prusa website on how to manual.
