Sloppy Delivery - Getting too big?

I know I am having a bad time of it of late, trouble with both of my MK3S+ machines; banding issues,   build problems,  prints that just don't measure up to previous machines .. frustration with  all the time I am wasting on maintenance and build problems  rather than printing like I used to.

Just received my newest MK3S+ machine .. no more plastic wrapping on the box by the way, used to like that as delivery companies lately just leave stuff by the door, rain, snow,  or sun.

But this delivery box was just bad..

Inside the box, the tube cover was off and my steel rods were rolling around in the bottom of box.. I mean .. really? Saving on plastic, environmental issues in consideration, ok.. fine .. can live with that , but can't tape the tube covers closed ?

Bitched to support, and they will replace them when I ship a pic .. but really .. the halo is really beginning to slip for me ..

@cwbullet

My first ever printer arrived a couple of days ago and mine was packed perfectly. I had loads of plastic wrap on the outside of the box too. I am really impressed with everything, especially the instructions. So far the installation has been so easy, (from a 61-year-old woman with no engineering or electronic skill at all), I'm on the last Eisny board step at the moment.

@mystydog

I had a similar experience x 3.  I suspect this is just a one-off.

There is a chance Customs did an inspection. They usually leave a note.

I did not even think about this but you are probably right.

Customs reminds me of a package that got search because the dogs set on it overseas.  It was the package beside it that was full of contraband.
