Self Test error X-Axis Length (Stepper "Wobbles"
Hello,
I've searched for similar issues and can't seem to find a fix for my X-axis problem. I've already checked the belt tension, pulley tension, wiring, and zip tie position, but none of those have resolved the issue. The issue is that auto calibration fails on the X axis, and when I go into settings to move the X axis, it just wiggles back and forth via the motor, and never really moves. As I scroll the wheel next to the LCD, the stepper moves forward and back one step, never moving the print head. Any ideas?
Thank you,
Jay
Re: Self Test error X-Axis Length (Stepper "Wobbles"
I found an issue where the X-axis stepper motor connector was loose. The X-axis now moves correctly, but still fails calibration with the following message:
Selftest error !
Please check :
Axis length
Axis X

Please check :
Axis length
Axis X
if it fails X then its almost always an obstruction from a hotend cable. Its very very sensitive.
