Oh ok, i see. The thing is that the print came up better.

I too was assuming that the sample spool was PrusaMENT (tm) and used that setting for months before I realized that it was Prusa-non-ment.  I've found that the PrusaMENT PLA, the Prusa-non-ment PLA and the Generic PLA settings in PS give results with that filament that are not obviously different.

Also, if you need a good Stateside second source of that silver-gray filament, FilamentPM has what appears to be the exact same stuff, noted 'Made in the Czech Republic' but not specifically mentioning the Prusa brand.

So what you are trying to say is that the new print was better than the old one because of luck and it didn't have to do with the filament profile?

Not really, but kind of.  There are so many factors and there's always some variation from print to print that's difficult to attribute to one factor or another.

Lots of little factors...

Also, be aware that some of the sample gcode files may have been sliced with old PrusaSlicer versions and settings. In particular, try that same print after setting Print Settings->Infill->Top fill pattern to Monotonic and compare.

I have found 3D printing to be more like cooking than engineering. There are a lot of light touches that make a big difference in printing. As you do more experimenting, it gets easier to diagnose and resolve problems.
