Printing help: Strange but somewhat repeatable results

Please see the attached picture. I've printed the same part three times and all parts have the same diagonal running gash. I'm unsure of what to start with. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

That mark is where the layer starts/ends. The same can be seen on the funnel of the Benchy I printed after a rebuild of the extruder
.

In Slic3r in "Print Settings/Layers and Perimeters/Advanced" try changing Seam position to "Random".

Martin

Hi Peter,
are you using the latest firmware and drivers?
the issue you see may already have been addressed.

that looks like start / end of layer issues.

I believe Slic3r tries to put them in corners to make them less obvious.but you don't have enough corners in a circle 😈

try adjusting the seam position in Slic3r

you might be able to find an acceptable place,

or
you could try adjusting the retraction settings
