Interesting that you don't count in the printer time as like any piece of machinery it will have maintenance costs and a finite life.

But the capital cost is far less than the cost of the filament that will go through it, it's not like a Markforged machine at many times the price or a Stratasys where the entry level is around £25k. My Mk3 has already consumed 4 times its purchase price in filament and I doubt I've spent £100 maintaining it yet.  I wouldn't be surprised if it's still working in ten years' time.  OK, charge it against tax but otherwise the purchase is such a small part of the overall cost that, if you're charging, the first job will probably pay for it.
