Hallo,
Was wäre die Abhilfe.....?

Viele Grüße
Manni

Greetings all, so just a quick rundown on things.

As mentioned before there is work in progress on the forums with updating it. When I have more info on what changes there will be I will update everyone but for right now I do not want to say because its all being tested and it could change to something else if things don't go well enough. I also have all the feedback from the forum members on different things nad while keep those in mind, I will do what I can about adding those requests into the updated forum.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For the community side of things,

There is a community hang out session tonight, May4th at 19:00 CET (13:00 EST / 10:00 PST) on our discord where community members can share their projects. I also asked Tommy for some different product updates that there are a few forum posts on, so there should be some info on the Open Tags and HT Hotends.
https://discord.gg/vwQXysZtd

It will also be multi cast to our youtube and twitch channels, but if you want ot participate and show things off, you will have to join in the discord conversation.

https://www.youtube.com/@PrusaCommunityLive
https://www.twitch.tv/prusacommunitylive

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Prusa Core One + Community Mod project.

The base and back are built and added some quality of life additions to it. I have an electrician getting one part set up for me and I need to order / make a insert press and then will work on the sides. When I can I will update the thread on the current update on that project and once it's done we can look at checking out some community mods to prusa slicer.

https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/prusa-core-one-general-discussion-announcements-and-releases/core-one-community-project-build

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, to some who would ask why I made a single post with multiple updates... as you can see I am a wee bit busy with things but wanted to give an update :)

Moin zusammen,

Volker

Hey everyone,

I'm wondering why Sequential Printing doesn't also allow the option of printing the first layer of all objects first.

I've printed lots of sequential prints in a production environment, and I'm seeing a common issue that could be avoided. Normally, the first layer goes on perfect because it is laid down immediately after bed level sensing. However during a sequential print, that is only true for the first instance. The first layers of subsequent instances aren't guaranteed to adhere good because the bed shifts slightly over time because of heat. I see occasional failures, and a lot of bad looking first layers because of this.

If the slicer had the option of laying down all of the first layers before starting sequential printing, this would fix the problem.

Edit: doing a quick google search, I see that this feature has been requested multiple times already by multiple people. One suggested the option of "print n layers first" and I think that's the most flexible solution. I also see that brims are already printed this way in sequential print mode, so the logic of that behavior should also apply to the object.
