"post nozzle drip" gunk in the extruder
I think i have a stuck/baked filament in the extruder due to ASA use.

Make sure you get the correct E3D V6 type nozzle with the 7.5mm long M6 threaded section... the whole nozzle should be 12.5mm long.
cheaper nozzles for other types of printer can bring you a whole load of pain, and waste time...
when you have successfully changed thee nozzle you should have a tiny gap between the nozzle hexagon shape and the heatbed, when the nozzle is tight against the heatbreak.
a 7mm socket spanner is probably the best tool for handling a burning hot nozzle,
Make sure that you have a suitable spanner for the heatblock, to hold it still whilst unscrewing the nozzle.
BEWARE THE WIRES.... the thermistor wires are very weak, and the heated wires can be brittle. KEEP the heat block as still as possible...
remove and replace the nozzle whilst the extruder is HOT!

p.s. a spare heater and thermistor are handy to have on hand...

Do you think it is 'stuck extruder' or nozzle ?
Im not very good with mechanical issues and hesitate to get into it ?
So I guess after three days and now I can wait till .
Can I tilt the machine so I can see what I'm doing ?
Got a vid on how to do it ?
Is there a known issue with stuck ASA ?

You could also look up how to do a 'cold pull'. Use cleaning filament and get all the left over ASA out of the nozzle.
When changing from a higher temp material to a lower one that is part of many peoples routine. I'll do that if I have to but generally I run about 20 sets of 'is the filament correct Y/N' with N at the temp for the high temp filament. So if I've printed ABS I'll load in some end of roll PLA and at the ABS temp load the PLA filament about 20 times. Then I drop to the normal PLA temperature and load a couple more times making sure its coming out the nozzle in a straight line. If it does I'm good to go. If not then its out with the old cleaning filament for a cold pull.
I've been running an E3d Nozzle X for over a year now and in that time I've only had to do a cold pull once.
