Possible Y-Axis belt tightening under spec
First off, via support menu y-axis is at 281, which is just out of spec on the lose end of the y-axis belt...from what I understand.
The shots below display two parts, printed one behind the other oriented lengthwise across the x-axis. The first part prints to .8mm and then starts printing 1.6mm from the second, switching parts each iteration to keep PINDA collision from occurring.
The lines indicate a slight overlap toward the front of the machine when printing the first layer of the next iteration. The rear of the part is slight indented on that same layer. It appears the y-axis is moving slight too far forward when traveling between parts.
THIS DOES NOT OCCUR WITH A SINGLE PART PRINTED FROM START TO FINISH, or printing multiple parts in one run, one at a time.
Is my issue related to the y-axis as I believe it is?
RE: Possible Y-Axis belt tightening under spec
Don't use those numbers as tension "spec". They reflect motor resistance - nothing else.
If you try to meet "spec" - you are likely to bend something. If you feel some tension, and the belts don't sag - you are fine.
