PLA doesn't want to work when ABS PETG do
Hello, I have an issue printing with PLA.
When I try printing with PLA filament - I tried with both Prusa PLA and Sunlu PLA+ from Amazon - it doesn't want to come out. I hear a constant jam sound, as I guess it doesn't want to come out.
I thought it was the nozzle that could be clogged but even after trying to unclog with a needle it doesn't change, and I've even tried with the basic nozzle I only used the first days since I bought the steel one with the printer.
What makes me think it's not the nozzle is that when I try to print ABS I never have any issue at all (at least nothing about getting out of the nozzle).
I even tried to print PLA warmer but nothing works. I have to warm the nozzle at at least ABS temperature (250+) to make it come out when switching of filament.
Sometimes when I switch to PLA it works for a couple of minutes then it's stuck until I change.
If anyone has an idea... I like ABS but i have troubles printing big pieces even if I made the IKEA enclosure, but anyway I'd like to still find a solution for PLA.
Thanks a lot guys

You need to do a cold pull of the ABS to clear all of the material from the nozzle, then load PLA.

Thank you, I'll definitely give it a try when back at home!

Seems to have made the job! Thanks a lot, never heard of that solution before while it seems pretty common
