[...] Ok... the negative Z adjustment move closer to bed; -.5 is lower/closer than -.4 . Have I got that right?

A more negative number brings the nozzle closer to the bed. You start at 0 which is where the PINDA sensor first detects the bed, then lower it from there (more negative values) until you get a good 1st layer. I start with fairly large increments until the filament starts sticking (-0.06 or more), then slow down for the final adjustments (-0.02mm). It sounds finicky, but once you've done it a few times, the entire process takes a few minutes.

RE: not sticking to bed

I had to change my whole extruder because of a big gloc which also break 1 of the electric wires. After thst I came to this discussion because my 1st layer stay in problems. Look at the photo please for exact problem at the first output already. After that there's more pla/abs/petg on the extrader then on the plate.
Anyone has an idea what goes wrong?
Help is very needed.

RE: not sticking to bed

I have an problem after I have to change my hotend so decided to choose for my spare Assembled hotend (MK3S).

Now the first layer stays problematic, see the first coming out before start printing.

Many times started bedleveling from zero nothing seems to help me further.

Tried all PLA, PETG and ABS but the problem stays.

Can anyone please help me further in the right direction?
