Newbie
Hello! I am totally new to 3d printing and will be receiving my new printer tomorrow! I am not sure where to start. Can you give me some suggestions as to what are good programs to start designing with? Any good videos to watch to get familiar with 3d printing? Thank you for your help and tips!

A better question might be what do you intend to build with your new printer?
As for other things, the SD you'll get with the printer has a lot of samples to try out; they'll help you get an idea how to print a file. There are STL and gcode versions. Try with gcodes first so you know the printer is doing it's thing. The use the STL's to learn Slic3r. When you are able to reproduce the print as good as the included gcode files, then worry about designing new stuff. Until then you probably have the wrong expectations of just what the printer can and can't do.
Then try ThinkgyVerse for more ideas - no designing required since others have done the work. Download the STL files, drag them into Slic3r, create a gcode file, copy it on to the SD card, and print.
