Hello Ladies & Gents,
I have received & assembled a MK3S+ kit with great thanks to everybody who posted assembly instructions in this forum. It went together like a dream & first run wizard gave a result of perpendicular. I went half and half between the SD Prusa Gcode for Live Z & the My Way Live Z that many people talk about & in my opinion the stock Live Z tuning is the best. The Prusa Live G is much quicker & if you take your time & lower it by 2 clicks of the wheel each run & have patience you will dial it into perfection. The fully calibrated printer went straight into a 58 hour PETG print on a 0.15mm Quality setting and i love it. Print was completed & i built my MMU2S unit while admiring the print quality. Im delighted to be a member of this group & in IMHO anyone who says this is a bad printer did not assemble it as per instructions. This is a precision machine and it deserves total attention to detail while assembling. Assembling the printer was a joy but assembling the MMU2S unit was a pleasure. The thinking that was put into that assembly is amazing & the PCB is a work of Art. So anyways, happy printing folks & as a newcomer i am grateful for all the little helpful tips this community has provided if you do your research & do not just dive headfirst into something you don't understand.
If its not broken, leave it alone. Less is more.

Thanks Chuck. I bought a velleman vertex nano kit to dip my toes but seeing JP's machine at work has created a Cheshire Cat Grin. I gotta put a lock on my funds to stop me buying another one. BTW im printing parts for a Prusa Box enclosure. All coordinated in PETG Orange.

Lol, a second one is nice. I bought one to do all the prints my wife wants while living me a printer to do my stuff and tinker with on lol. Also useful having the second one if you venture into the MMU2S waters. I did that. After a LOT of tinker and help from folks on here it does work. However for things like TPU it's nice to have a non-mmu printer since you have to dork with the idler tension screw in some cases.
oh, and as Chuck said, welcome aboard!

Hi Chuck. For printer operation & assembly no i don't. I spent weeks reading here while waiting for my order to arrive. My post was simply a few words of thanks to each person who took the time to put a helpful instruction on this forum.
