MK3S upgrade - cannot get extruder thermistor unhooked on the board
I just received my MK3S upgrade kit, and am currently following the extruder disassembly instructions. I managed to unhook all of the rest of the wires, but cannot for the life of me get the extruder thermistor safety latch cable to remove. I've tried pushing the release down with my fingernail, pushing the tab on the other side of the lock with the screwdriver, trying to get over the hump of the latch... I've even tried doing that while gripping the connector with the needle nose pliers, but they just keep slipping off.
Any suggesions on removing this stubborn connector?

Shouldn't be that difficult... here's where you need to press to release the connector: if you grab the connector with pliers make sure you are grabbing and depressing the tab, not the flange around it.

Yes, that's the part I had been squeezing trying to get it off. My other 3d printing coworker was able to help me finally get it disconnected. We ended up using one of the small hex wrenches from there kit to push down on the tab from the open side nearer the board, while squeezing the tab from the front. Must have just been a tight fit, or the tab wasn't bending enough to clear the lock.
