MK3 pauses for half a second then continues
Hi all!
Since this morning (at least I think) I got this weird problem. During printing the printer pauses for a short time and then continues. I don't remember changing anything in my settings. I made a small video.

Anybody an idea what this could be?

Are you printing via the SD card or via USB?

USB Octoprint. Just started the same print via SD. Waiting for the brim to finish (brim went fast on previous print) then I see if happens again.

There were bugs relating to USB printing. Make sure you are on MK3 firmware 3.3.1 and Octoprint 1.3.9-rc4 and see if it works better.

That would explain, running from SD works fine.
After my T-Rex ribs are finished I will update printer to latest FW and try again.

There were bugs relating to USB printing. Make sure you are on MK3 firmware 3.3.1 and Octoprint 1.3.9-rc4 and see if it works better.
Installed latest FW and upgraded to OctoPrint rc4 but still the same problem. Printing from SD works fine.

I have been printing with Octoprint for at least a year without this particular issue but just in the last few weeks I am having the same problem.
I am able to print with no issues directly from SD.
Some digging around on various forums suggests several possible culprits such as the storage of timelapse files on the Octoprint SD or laggy interactions with the browser while streaming from the webcam.
I purged the timelapse files from Octoprint. That may have helped for the next print (inconclusive) but the problem was definitely back within a print or two. I am dubious about the webcam / browser interaction because that has never been a problem before.
I notice there are software updates for the Octoprint and some of the plugins. Perhaps one of these will fix the problem...

Try disabling serial logging...
