MK3->MK3/S Upgrade: Forgot to Remove Filament
I removed the extruder from my MK3 so I can upgrade to the MK3S. Unfortunately, in my infinite wisdom, I didn't follow the first rule and forgot to unload the filament. How hosed am I?
I am probably going to have to take apart this entire thing to make the upgrade anyway. Before this upgrade, I was already having problems getting the hot end to extrude anything (after switching from PETG to PLA), and having problems unloading filament as it seemed to be stuck. Can I fix this by removing the hot end and just running it under a heat gun forever to melt the PLA out of it?
