just assembled - Noise levels

I am a bit surprised, used a lot of time assembling a new MK3S, and heard so much about sound levels.

really had no issues (Engineer and a Toolmaker background) and took my time.

The first Benchie seems okay, but i do feel that the printer is loud, is this just normal?

This is running in SILENT. it makes a bit more noise in Normal... not extreme amounts, the high speed outer perimiters are the same in noise,

Feel like it is more than my CR10S pro although the fanspeed are a bit better.

I can hear it when the door is closed 2 rooms away when doing the fast parts..

when first running the "wizard" it did complain once about the y axis (bed axis) then i said loose pulley, so tightened a bit, until it went through, all drive "chains" seems to have the right amount of slack/tension...

and the prints seems okay

This is me switching between silent and normal mode...

the problem is, that this printer (the most expensive i have) seems to be the most fragile, i would dare to take apart my cr10s pro and fix it, but every step in the manual of this is.. "plastic part can break" and parts were all over the place tolerance wise..

i really don´t understand the enormous praise for this printer, i love the Heated bed, i love the direct drive.. and it just seems to work..

but it just seems so fragile... i am extremely dissapointed in quality feel, that is also why i stand back and think, is this noise just the noise level? and are all youtube reviewers just partial to this printer, i see many videos, where the noise levels are the same..

but the normal "review" is.. that the fan noise is higher than the steppers... it´s hard to hear the fans over my steppers.

would be nice to know if this was just normal.

The Bed it self felt well controlled by the bearings and the rods.. but it has noise in all axis.. although a bit different, so it seems not to just be.. "one area"..

ordered the BLTOUCH for the CR-10s pro.. then this can go back on the shelf..

I will watch this one with interest too. Mine was gritty bearing noisey when moved by hand and when running calibration but when I printed the batman test print it was silent throughout.
