Just assembled - garbled text, AutoLoad filament causes restart, other random reboots
Just finished assembling the printer, I managed to get through the first part of the wizard by guessing what the garbled text said. When I got to first layer calibration, the printer restarted.
- I loaded filament manually and ran first layer calibration manually. Printhead moved but no extrusion.
- I tested all axes, bed and extruder temperature, and extrusion manually. All worked.
- Every time I try to run AutoLoad Filament, the printer immediately restarts.
- Unload filament works.
- I've checked the ribbon connections on the display board and all connections on the einsy board.
- My firmware is up to date; if I try to reflash firmware, the printer restarts.
It seems likely that something is loose, pinched, or shorting somewhere. I don't look forward to the prospect of dis- and re-assembling the entire thing with fingers crossed that it works this time. Are there any specific tests or diagnostics that might give an indication what is wrong?

Hello,
Your problem may be linked to this bug. You can read the thread and and if you find that it matches, downgrading the firmware to 3.9.2 may be the solution.
Good luck !

Unfortunately I am unable to flash 3.9.2 either.

After disconnecting the display ribbon cables I was able to flash - first 3.9.3 (I was already on 3.9.3 but this was a test). After reflashing 3.9.3 I still had the same issues. I then flashed 3.9.2 with the ribbons disabled. Everything seems to work fine on 3.9.2. Too bad they are shipping units with 3.9.3 if it's the problem...

Glad you made it out.
All the motherboards don't show this bug. Mine is ok, but a batch of some of them seems to have a bad management of their inside timings or something like that.
