Having issues after clog and tip change.
Hi everyone 👋
I've had my Prusa for over a year now and have had 0 issues up until recently. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
For the first time ever, I used some "wood infused" PLA filament with a .4m tip. Was successfully able to print about 300meters worth of parts until the printer clogged. After using a needle, was able to free up the clog and printed another 150meters of filament. However, I got another clog 😅 This time tho, the needle didn't fix it and I had to perform a cold pull. Did about 3 cold pulls and the picture is of the last one. First question, does this look normal? Not sure why it's skinny and then big and then skinny again.

Long story short, I replaced the tip with a new .4m nozzle and performed the Prusa setup wizard again using normal PLA (not "wood infused"). After running through the first layer calibration, my test prints look a bit odd. Can't tell if it's a first layer calibration issue, or if there is still a partial clog. What's throwing me off is part of the print looks great, but part of it doesn't (see pics). What do you guys think?

Btw, I won't be using the wood infused filament again until a .6m tip arrives.
Your last cold pull still contains some particles of darker matter, you should have continued until clean ...
But if three pulls are not enough you could preheat, remove the nozzle and force some filament through the hot end by hand - it should move easily and carry any debris with it. Then check the nozzle is clear before reinstalling it.
Cheerio,
