First Rokie Disaster 🙂 Oh My!

Greetings,

I've had my first disaster. I've heated the extruder and carefully pulled off the blob that had encased it. The head is fairly clean but till has a coating of PLA on it. My question is this. I've decided to do my first over regular maintenance, clean this mess up and maybe a new nozzle? Should I attempt this in the enclosure?  Would it be simpler to take the printer out of the enclosure for all of this work? Thanks, g

We all do it it might be best to do this out of the enclosure so you have more room

Thanks:) I've pulled the printer out of the enclosure and it is all set up to work on this morning. I've been a bad boy. I have waited until 1500 hrs before my first Maint. Cycle. Having too much fun apparently. I think I'll mount the blob on top of the enclosure as a reminder!
