First Prints

Can I get some input as to how these first prints look on my newly assembled MK3S, everything looks OK to me but a more experienced eye might spot where improvements can be made.

This photo is the prusa test plate, I was amazed at the speed this printed at, there are some very minor marks on the letters, shown In more detail  in the next photo.

Fixed it.

Looks like first layer was still too high, This is one area I really was never 100% on, but I have learned an awful lot setting this up on the MK3.  Went from 1.195 to 1.240 through a lot of fine tuning.

The ender was always very much hit and miss with the first layer adjust.

I now see what Jeff means by one homogeneous layer.

Tank you very much!

Whistle Under first layer.

I suspect my first layer may be a tad low, when I measured the live Z print with a digital caliper was 0.19mm

Would appreciate your input please.  Calibration was perpendicular, Bed adhesion very good so far.

Can no one advise on these marks on the Prusa plate and whistle letters please? (More so on the prusa plate, looks like small indents in the corners, as if the nozzle has slightly pressed in)

I am unsure if this is normal.

Many Thanks
