first print problem: Filament thickness intolerance?
Hi there
I've just successfully assembled my Purse MK3S and now I wanted to start printing my first object. The preheat and the calibration works pretty good.
But when the Printer should drag the first line on the lower left corner my problem pops up. The Z-Axle moves up an the extruder moves to the right side. There the printer advised my to unload the filament and reload it.
I've gone this several times and I already cuted an length from the filament off. On the internet I saw that it might be a thickness intolerante but it hasn't changed at anything at all.
Does somebody have a solution for me?
Thanks for reading this and happy printing to all of you. =)
RE: first print problem: Filament thickness intolerance?
in the fail stats is written that the printer run out of filament 22 times so far.

You can disable the filament sensor temporarily until you get it sorted.

Bobstro's advice is the answer to get that to stop so you can print.
Further, you should make sure you have the filament sensor plugged in correctly at the rambo board and that you have the correct software installed. There is a knowledge base article on this problem called IR sensor troubleshooting as well.
