First Layer Issues - New to 3D Printing
I just got my MK3S and got it all put together. At first it was printing great, but I was having issues with the autofilament loader. After troubleshooting and fixing the IR sensor, I'm now having first layer issues. I should also point out that I changed filament to PETG and have changed back to PLA to try to resolve my issues.
I went back and adjusted my z-axis even lower and it looks better, but I'm still getting issues. It's like the PLA isn't flowing out at the start.

If it was me printing this, I would lower z-live by a smidgen or two, increase flow by 5 or 10, increase bed temp 5 deg and slow down the speed for first layer to about 95.
I don't know if this will solve the problem, but it will help.

Try this cal piece. Once Live-Z is properly set, it should peel off as a single sheet of plastic, with a force required similar to masking tape (PLA on a clean smooth PEI sheet).
ps: keep hands and fingers away from the PEI print surface. Fingerprints will haunt you as soon as you start handling the print surface.

If you go from PETG to PLA - you risk clogging your nozzle.
Stock up on some cleaning filament, and use it on every high temp to low temp transition.
All you have to do is load it, then unload it. Maybe twice for good measure.

Ok, I decreased the nozzle temp 5 and raised the Z. Much better first layer now. That calibration circle really helped to dial in the z-axis. Thank you very much.
