First layer 'bubbles' and failed infill

I occasionally get these first layer 'bubbles' what causes them?

Also, for the first time ever I had the infill fail, any idea what would cause that?

Thank you.

when in doubt go hotter and slower. is this pla? grid infill can get weird sometimes when the extrusions cross and also the nozzle will drag across it during travels.
those ripples pop up sometimes for a variety of reasons:
-glossy bed
-live z too low
-high spot in the bed (or in the interpolated mesh level PINDA generates)

The bubbles show up in random locations occasionally, so I don't think it is a high spot.

I do run a low live z as I like the more finished glossy look I get, I will try lifting it a bit (I want to eliminate a bit of elephant's foot anyway.)

Regarding the layer adhesion... it seems for some reason this print didn't bond the layers at all.. See images.

They all didn't adhere very well. Pretty odd as I have been printing with this brand of PLA for quite a while now and have had zero issues. In fact I printed the model again right after and it went really well.. So it is indeed very strange.

Thanks for the ideas.

uhhh wow, I've never seen anything look like that. definitely worth trying a new brand and/or drying your current spool

another thought on the small bubbles, could be a drop of oil or something on the bed
