First Layer an Ironing Problems

I have a problem with the first layer. One side is very smooth and the further it goes to the other side, the rougher the print becomes. I have done bed leveling several times.

I also have the following problem when ironing:

What am I doing wrong?

Hi @hkirchberg, welcome to the forum!

Since there is no "bed leveling" to be done according to the official documentation, what did you do exactly?

There is https://help.prusa3d.com/article/first-layer-calibration-i3_112364 which is essential to be done correctly and quite often is the problem in the beginning. If you don't mind, redo that and post a picture of the rectangle still on the print bed.

There is https://help.prusa3d.com/article/mesh-bed-leveling_112163 which is settings only, leave them on default for the time being.

There is https://help.prusa3d.com/article/bed-level-correction_2267 which can improve your prints (especially big ones) but should not be required to get acceptable results.

There are tons of other methods to do the first layer calibration (in the forum as well as all over the internet) and there are bed leveling mods for your printer.

Regarding the ironing, more info is needed, the zipped project file is a start, what filament do you use, what do you want to achieve or enhance? Be aware that ironing is a somewhat controversial feature...

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.
