First and last layer issues
Hi,
I'm new to 3d-printing, just finished building my 3Ks, but I have issues with my first layer, and the last layer, when I have a smooth surface.
I've read alot on the forum, but I'm not sure what causes my problem. Though I'm suspecting not enough filament coming out of the extruder.
I've included pictures of the Prusa Logo. Top and bottom.
I've calibrated the first layer, using Jeff's post. Found that in my case -,650 it is not sticking together, -,700 gives a squiched result and sharp filament pieces stivking up (guessing the nozzle is squeezing to much. So in the picture I'm using -,675.
Still not completely even surfave, but the best I get.
Now, looking at the top layer, it does not look good at all, and I have think there is not enough filament, but I don't have any experience.
Reaching out to the community, hoping someone has good suggestions.

RE: First and last layer issues
It looks to me as your first layer calib is working nicely. I am seeing the exact same thing with top layer. Check this one out, they are talking about overextrusion. I just posted that it should not be needed to adjust when using sd-card gcode and Prusa Filament.
If you managed to fix it otherwise, please let me know;-)
Thanks!
