Fails at 4th XYZ Calibration Point
Ok,
I am assembling another printer. I did the XYZ and it fails every time on point 4. It is appearing to drop off the bed and hitting the edge of the bed while moving in the X axis. Has anybody seen this?

How did you decide it was the bed causing the problem?

RE: Fails at 4th XYZ Calibration Point
More than a couple of years ago I bought the MK2 and after a while I wanted to have the MK3 but with the BEAR structure.
So I bought the structure on ratrig.com, some things on 3Donline, others in the Prusa store and some more, like an MK52, on Gearbest. I could never pass the XYZ calibration. I changed the bearings, the position of the bars, some parts that joined them, I removed the springs that I had put under the MK52 for a better calibration. Nothing at all. I came to change a couple of engines, thinking they weren't synchronous. I asked other users with the Bear structure and nobody complained about the calibration. But one told me convinced: change the MK52 if you bought it in Gearbest. He had done it and failed to pass the calibration until he put the original MK52. My printer could print relatively well, but not passing the calibration mortified me. So I ended up buying the original MK52 and changed it. It was not necessary to do anything else. The calibration happened to the first one and I continued to pass it when I do some reset or change something (for example the step to MK3s) in the printer.
