Error in XYZ calibration
Hi there
I have an issue with the xyz calibration step. The printer was perfectly working but I decided to diassemble the Y axis to grease the rods. After the reassembly, that went ok (no missing pieces), tried to run the XYZ calibration just in case, and the problems began. When I auto home, the PINDA ends just on top of the first calibration point, but after the calibration, the first point is ok, the nozzle touches slightly the PCB and then moves to the second, it starts its search at lower height and when it moves to the third, touches the PCB few times.
I checked the forum, and the Y belt is ok, tight but not too much, the axes move freely without any obstacle, tried to reassemble the PCB few times and looks leveled. Moved the PINDA very slightly up and down, but no luck, always fails on the third calibration point (top right as seen from the front of the printer).
Tried unplugging, resseting after the error message, but I'm completely lost.
Any thoughts? If not, I will contact tech support next Monday.
Re: Error in XYZ calibration
Are the y rods seated properly?

Re: Error in XYZ calibration
Yes, they are, checked twice. I'm going to disassemble the whole Y axis again, to check what's going on. Thank you
Re: Error in XYZ calibration
I fixed the problem. Had a live chat with support and after checking Y carriage assembly (idler, motor assembly, belt tension, etc) the engineer told me to install an older firmware, 3.1.2, and with the old XYZ calibration routine everything went smooth.
There must be a bug in the last firmware, because the XYZ calibration invariably crashes the nozzle on the 1st and 2nd points and gives an error on the third. Where should I report a bug?
