display to the side?
hi folks,
im thinking about buying my first prusa - but i already hava a nice enclosure which i want to keep. But from my research the mk3s is a little deeper then my anycubic - so ill have to rebuild the encolsure OR put it in sideways...
is it possible to mount the display to the side?

As the display is connected via 2 ribbon cables you can locate it in a variety of positions. You just have to play with alternate mounting hardware. I have mine mounted outside my enclosure using a bracket I found on thingiverse.
The cables are quite long as they route around from back to front of the printer but if you need longer ones you could buy longer replacements. Just dont go too long as they do have to carry signals and data so emi could be a factor on longer runs.
